Former Owner Operators Greg and Joyce Langford established Langford Inc. in 1981. Based out of St. Cloud, MN, the fleet consists of Volvo 770's & Volvo 660's (with Auto Shift & 13 speed transmissions) equipped with 100% air ride, logistically equipped dry vans (102 inches wide, 48 and 53 foot in length). Langford Inc. excels in a competitive industry by specializing in hauling pre-fabricated high-end customized building products consisting of multi-stop truckload and LTL shipments.
Our number one priority is safety, which is followed closely by our dedication to customer service. We do all we can to make sure our drivers run safely and legally, instituting a systems of checks and balances with driver paperwork to ensure accuracy and the safety of our drivers on the road. We work not only to preserve our "Satisfactory" safety rating, but to keep our drivers safe and sound! As far as our customer service concerns go, since our business consists mostly delivering to the franchises of our two major customers we are able to visit the same franchises and build rapport with the staff and owners of those franchises. We are always looking for drivers and owner operators with a high standard of excellence to add their expertise to our fleet. Reputation is very important to us and as our drivers are the face we show the world, we are looking for the best!
In this age of communications and technology, we do our best to use every advantage available to service our customers and help our drivers operate safely and legally. Since 1998, we've been using satellite systems in our fleet. This, along with items already in place such as specialized software and internet sites, helps us maintain our edge.
